Woodford County Amateur Radio Club
The April meeting of the Woodford County Amateur Radio Club will be held Wednesday, April 2 at the Versailles Fire Department Station #3 / Fire Training Center, 1415 Huntertown Road, at 7:00 p.m. Anyone interested in amateur radio is invited to attend.
Woodford County Woman’s Club

The meeting was held on March 13 at the Senior Center. Reports were given and plans discussed for ongoing distributions, as well as balances on existing funds. A new member has been accepted and will be welcomed at our next meeting, which will be held on April 10 at the same location at 6:30 p.m. All are welcomed.

Discover our colonial herb garden, which was planned, installed and maintained by the Woodford Herbalist Club on Saturday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. Learn about colonial/frontier uses of herbs for cooking, healing, and dyeing with a program titled “Savoring the Past: Planning and Planting a Historic Herb Garden.”
After a talk by the Herbalist Club, tour the garden, and learn how to create your own herb garden. Admission is free.
Rotary International
Rotary International is hosting a meeting on Tuesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Community & Technical College offices’ main auditorium to explore the idea of establishing a rotary club in Woodford County. All are welcome.
Mentors & Meals
M&Ms is a non-profit after school mentoring program whose mission is to enhance academic achievement in middle schoolers through mentoring. We are accepting enrollment for 6th-8th grade students who may need assistance with homework help, project completion, or time management skills. Loved Ones
Woodford County’s Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) meets the first and third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Versailles Presbyterian Church, 130 North Main Street, in the conference room.
All are welcome to the meetings, including parents, relatives and friends who have a loved one in addiction of drugs or alcohol. Come and find support and obtain a better understanding of your loved one.

Salvation Army Unit
The Woodford County Salvation Army Unit meets on the second Thursday of the month at Bluegrass Community Hospital at 11:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room. The unit is always looking for new volunteers. Salvation Army helps with many community organizations such as Coats and Shoes for Kids, Bluegrass Community Action, Family Resource Centers and the Red Kettle campaign. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Woodford County Senior Citizens Center
Donate to our “Fill Our Bag Rummage Sale.” Donations will be accepted Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. –4 p.m. until April 30 at 285 Beasley Drive. All donations will be used for the Senior Center’s rummage sale in May with proceeds benefitting the Senior Center.
